Here is a list of frequently searched phrases visitors typed into search engines that brought them here. Frequently asked questions about Meyer Snow Plows in general. I will answer / expand on them in hope of helping people find the information they are looking for.

You will notice that MANY have used the name "meyers". They are MEYER Plows, made by MEYER Products, not "meyers". Believe it or not, when searching the internet for information, spelling counts!

Let me also point out some important information. After all, that is why you are here, right?

"I have a meyers e-60 plow". NO, you have a Meyer E-60 hydraulic unit that could have been used with about 30 different plow combinations. IF you are looking for parts for the E-60 plow pump, then at this point, that is all you need to know. If you are looking for parts for the plow, then you need to know what plow you have. You also need to know what mount you have, unless you just need parts for the Moldboard itself.

You need to identify what pump you have. You need to identify what style of mount you have. You need to identify what controller you have. You need to identify what lights you have. THEN you will know what you actually have.

Mounts: EZ Custom, the last year was 1991. It is NOT available for any vehicle made after 1991, and it is OBSOLETE. The Lift Frame mounted behind the bumper and the pump and lights stayed on permanently. EZ Classic came next, with a tubular Lift Frame that could be removed. The EZ Classic was discontinued in 2009. The MDII came next, it had two blue handled pins on each side to remove the whole assembly from the truck, and one yellow handled pin on each side that would allow you to drop just the blade off the truck. Then came the EZ Plus. The EZ Plus has one blue handled pin on each side that allows you to drop the whole assembly off the truck, it is the current production model. The Xpress Plow mounts itself on the truck, and there is a push bar that is permanently attached to the truck.

Pumps: The E-47 came out around 1972. It was discontinued around 2005. Parts are still and will always be available for it. The E-47, and E-47H were used on all of the above styles of mounts. The MD II and EZ Plus used the H Model. The E-60 came out in 1990 with the EZ Classic mount. The sister mount, the Diamond E-60 was the E-60H. Around 2001 the E-57 came out. It was used on all of the above mounting styles. Again the MDII and the EZ Plus used the H Model as did the Diamond Pull-Away mount. The E-58H came out in 2006, and Meyer began phasing out the E-67, E-57, and E-60 units. The E-58H is current production.

Plows: The ST Series of plows has been around since the 1950's. Not much changed from 1950's until the ST was discontinued in 2009. The ST was available in widths up to 10' until 1969, when Meyer released the Husky (C Series) plows. The ST Series was known by the length in inches, hence ST-78, ST-90, etc. At some point Meyer switched to ST-6.5, ST-7, ST-7.5, C-8, C-8.5 etc. Both the ST and C Series were discontinued in 2009. The ST was replaced by the Drive Pro 7'6, and the C Series was replaced by the Lot Pro Series.

Lights: Back in the 1970's the lights Meyer used were Signal-Stat. The Custom Classic mount used them. The Turn signal was on top, and the headlight on the bottom. Then they went to the Dietz for a short run, and then to Truck-Lite. The EZ Classic used the Truck-Lite lights until the Nite Saber lights came out around 2001. EACH light system has its OWN wiring harness.

Controllers: The toggle switch controls were used on the E-47 unit ONLY. The E-46 (which was an E-47 with no PA Block on it (up and down only) used a single toggle switch, that was for the E-46 ONLY). The Slik Stik single lever controller (joystick) was used  with the E-47 and E-57. The Touchpad was used with the E-60. The Touchpad became the standard controller used with all Meyer plows until the Xpress Plow came out. The Xpress plow was the first Meyer plow to use a Pistol Grip controller. EACH controller has its own wiring harness.

mayer angle fluid fill - The PA rams can be filled by angling the blade a little at a time in each direction, Back and forth, a little more ach way as you go. . The air will get pushed back to the reservoir, much like bleeding brakes on a car. Just be sure to check the fluid level while filling the PA Rams.
installing trip spring meyer st 7.5 model - Good question that I have not seen asked in a while. To replace a single trip spring it is necessary to loosen ALL of the trip spring adjuster eyes, and lean the moldboard forward.. Replace the spring, then tighten all the adjusters until a sheet of paper can be slipped in between the coils the of each spring. Then tighten the lock nuts on the adjusters.

how do i adjust drop speed on meyers lot pro - On the side of the E-58H PA Block (driver's side) there is a lock nut with a set screw sticking out. Loosen the lock nut using a 1/2" wrench, and turn the screw in to slow down the drop speed. Once you have it where you want it, tighten the lock nut.

how to change meyer e60 filter - You don't change it, you  remove it and clean it. There are two plugs on the front of the unit, the lower plug, use an 11/16" wrench to remove it, and pull out the filter. Clean it with mineral spirits, let it dry, and put it back in. On the back of the unit there is another 111/16" plug, with another filter. Remove it, clean it in mineral spirits, let it dry, and replace it.
